We Rise by Lifting the Other
HW & DO is a by product of the 2022 flood, which severely affected Pakistan and devastated everything. HW & DO began its activities in July 2022. During the rescue and relief efforts, the organization rescued 400 flood-affected families and provided them with food bags containing basic necessities, with the help of their donors, in Village Shaidu, District Nowshera.
Registration
Huma Welfare and Development Organization (HW&DO) completed its registration process from Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) in September, 2023 and registered under section 42 of Companies Act, 2017 in SECP for charitable purposes. The organization started its activities within the legal framework of SECP since September, 2023. HW&DO is a non-profitable organization situated its head office based in Islamabad and operates all over Pakistan. HW&DO recently signed a MoU with sister organization Raza Foundation UK for the Education and Livelihood Projects in District Haveli AJ&K.
Introduction
Human Welfare and Development Organization (HW&DO) is an inkling of Dr. Pir Syed Ali Raza Shah Bukhari, a renowned religious scholar, permanent representative of PCSW&HR at United Nations, HQ’s, founder of Raza Foundation UK and former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) of AJ&K. HW&DO is a byproduct of the 2022 flood when a gigantic flood badly affected Pakistan and vanished the whole kit and caboodle. HW&DO started its activities in July, 2022. During the rescue and relief activities, the organization rescued 400 flood affected families and provided them the food bags with the help of their donors consisting of basic necessities of food items in Village Shaidu District Nowshera. In the rehabilitation phase the organization also contributed and constructed five houses and a Mosque in Villages Budd and Shorekot of District Dera Ismail Khan of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa with the assistance of some other partners.
